♚ the breeze was cool as it ran through the trees and over the river. a light layer of snow covers the ground with a light flurry coming down as well. thin layers of ice line the river while the center rushes through, dark shadows moving along with it.
eveningpaw stood on the bank of the river, her sharp gaze scanning the area around her. her tail swishes behind her, the evening light beginning to fade. it will be dark soon i suppose. She thought as she glanced between the few trees. she could hear something moving beyond bu she couldn't tell what it was. the breeze ruffles her fur, penetrating her thick coat and sending a small shiver through her body. "who's there?!" she calls out into the trees. the wind was not on her side today and wasn't blowing the scent of the stalker towards her.

Its fine!!))
Maplepaw was hiding in a bush behind Eveningpaw, he had stalked up upon her like prey. It was great practice, and he was excited. He heard her call out to whoever was there, and he held in a giggle. She had narrowed her eyes and looked straight at where he was, he was sure he had gotten caught. Though, she looked away, and his mischievous grin returned. As quick as a lightning bolt, Maplepaw shot out of the bush, and jumped onto Eveningpaw, pinning her too the ground. "How'd you like that, Eveningpaw!" He giggled, baring his teeth in a fake snarl. "I bet it feels nice and warm and cozy in the snow!" He playfully taunted, shaking his rear end to show he was happy. Eveningpaw was splat down on the snow, her legs sprawled out in every direction possible. He laughed, and said, "You didn't even see me coming! You looked right at me and didn't even notice me!" He said and playfully cuffed her ears.
